Foodspotting Helps You Find Delicious Eats at Home or Abroad [Social Networks]

Foodspotting Helps You Find Delicious Eats at Home or Abroad Foodspotting, the social network by and for food lovers, is one of your favorite restaurant discovery apps, and now the service is putting new focus on finding tasty treats wherever you go. The service picked up a huge overhaul that makes is easier to find not just a new place to try, but a new dish to try near you.

The new Foodspotting is still a great social network, and is still full of great photos of people's eats, but the new design features tag pages full of photos and maps of different types of foods, from dishes tagged red velvet to others tagged takoyaki. You start with a global view, but it doesn't take much to hone in on your hometown and discover a new place to try something delicious, and you even see a photo of the dish before you go.

The changes are the latest in Foodspotting's series of updates across its web and mobile apps, and its attempt to position itself a bit more as a way to help you find places to eat as well as share the dishes you love. The new site is available now to try, and if you're a member, updated apps are available in the iTunes App Store and at Google Play.
